Power House Church of God in Christ has faithfully served the Riverside community for decades. We are dedicated to strengthening the Kingdom of God and being a spiritual uplift in our community. We are tireless in our efforts to distribute food and clothes to those in need. Power House Church is growing at a steady pace, serving people of all races, creeds and backgrounds. With this growth, we have been able to accomplish more and have a larger impact upon our community. We are tireless in our efforts to distribute food and clothes to those in need.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

Pastor Anthony Green
Senior Pastor
Our pastor has been preaching since 1992. He has studied at Southern University, Baton Rouge LA and Bethel Bible College, Riverside CA. He has served as pastor of Power House Church since 2006 after the passing of the late Pastor K. C. Mcdowell
He currently serves as a regional overseer within the COGIC organization.
He is married to Dr. Tammy Green who serves within the ministry. Our First Lady studied at Cal Poly University, Pomona CA, Cal State San Bernardino and received her doctorate from La Sierra University.
They share two children and enjoy serving the body of Christ.

First Lady
Lady Tammy Green has been a woman of grace and excellence and has served as a powerful and anointed gift to the Body of Christ for many years. She has served in numerous capacities in ministry including Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor and Praise and Worship Leader, just to name a few.
Lady Green has worked in higher education all of her professional career. She currently works for Chaffey College as the Director of Disability services and Programs there. She holds 2 undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and the Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication and 2 Master’s degrees, the Master of Ministry degree and the Master of Arts degree in Educational Counseling. She also holds the Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.
In her words, “I am tri-passioned: I love pursuing the things of God, I love family and as a life-long learner, I love education. Together, these dynamics, sealed with the anointing of God, positions women to have powerful impact, 1st at home, in the church, in our communities and in the world”.
Dr. Green is the 1st Lady of Power House Church of God in Christ in Riverside, CA, where her husband, Superintendent C. Anthony Green, Jr. is the Pastor. At Power House, she serves in every capacity where she is able to have powerful and Godly impact. She works with her husband in the service of transforming lives by the Power of God. Together, their labor of love effectively ministers healing under the anointing and power of God. Particularly, she is the Director of Women of Power, the Women’s Ministry of Power House. Together they have two sons, Blake and Jayson and reside in Riverside, CA.
